Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Tkuma collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written in plain language on purpose. If anything is unclear, write to info@tkumaproject.org.

1. Who processes the data

The Tkuma platform. Data questions: info@tkumaproject.org.

2. What we collect

On registration: email address, name, password in encrypted form.
If you become an artist: artist name, photograph, city, phone, biography and any links you provide.
When publishing a work: everything you enter in the card, including photographs.
Automatically: IP address, browser language, technical information about pages visited.

We do not collect payment card data: there are no online payments on the platform.

3. Why

So you can sign in and hold conversations.
So your works can be shown to buyers.
To count how often works are shown — without this the equal-exposure mechanism on the home page cannot work.
To answer support requests.
To comply with the law.

We do not sell your data and do not pass it to advertisers.

4. Where data is stored

On the servers of our hosting provider. The applicable law is the law of the State of Israel.

5. How long we keep it

Account data for as long as the account exists. After deletion, personal data is anonymised within 30 days. Detailed records of work views are kept for 60 days, after which only anonymised statistics remain. Administrator activity logs are kept for at least 24 months.

6. Your rights

You may obtain a copy of your data, correct it, delete your account and withdraw consent to mailings. Deletion is available in your account settings. If something does not work, write to info@tkumaproject.org and we will answer within 30 days.

7. Messages

Messages between buyers and artists are stored on the platform. Administrators may read a conversation when handling a complaint or dispute. Every such access is recorded in an internal log.

8. Cookies

We use technical cookies only: they keep you signed in and remember your chosen language. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Children

The platform is not intended for people under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.

10. Changes

We will notify registered users by email of any material changes.
