Terms of Use
Last updated: 02.10.2026
By registering on Tkuma you accept these terms. We have tried to write them clearly, without legal fog.
1. What Tkuma is
A platform where independent artists show and sell their work. We provide a shopfront and a means of contact. We are not the seller, not a party to the transaction, and we do not own the works listed.
2. Who may use it
You must be at least 16. One person, one account. Registration details must be truthful.
3. Artists
Artist status is granted after the administration reviews your application. The review happens once per account, not for each work: after approval you publish on your own.
By publishing a work you confirm that:
— you created it or have the right to sell it;
— the description, dimensions, weight and condition are stated honestly;
— the photographs show that exact work;
— the sale infringes nobody's rights.
Prohibited: other people's work under your name, industrial copies presented as original, items restricted by law, and any content infringing copyright.
The administration may hide a work or revoke artist status for breaking the rules. The reason is always given.
4. Buyers
You contact the artist directly through the platform. The terms of the deal — price, handover, shipping and payment — are agreed between you.
5. Deals and money
There are no online payments on the platform at present. Settlement happens directly between buyer and artist, outside Tkuma.
When payments launch, a platform fee of 15 % is added to the price set by the artist. The buyer pays the fee; the artist receives their price in full. Shipping is not included and is paid separately. Artists are given at least 30 days' notice of any change to the fee.
6. Shipping, customs, taxes
Shipping terms are set by the artist. The exact cost is agreed with the buyer after consulting a carrier.
For international shipments, customs duties, VAT and charges in the recipient's country are paid by the buyer and are not included in the price.
Each artist is responsible for their own tax reporting.
7. Liability
Tkuma provides the platform "as is". We do not guarantee the authenticity of works, the accuracy of descriptions, or that either party will perform. Due diligence rests with the parties to the transaction.
We are responsible for the platform itself and work to keep it available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
8. Messages and moderation
Messages are stored on the platform. Administrators may read a conversation when handling a complaint or dispute; every such case is recorded in an internal log.
Abuse, spam, attempts to lure users to fraudulent sites and demands for prepayment via external links are prohibited.
9. How works are shown
The order on the home page is set by an algorithm that considers how recent the listing is, how complete the card is, and how many views it has already received. Position in the feed is not for sale. The administration may pin an artist to the home page at its discretion — this is a means of support, not a paid service.
10. Termination
You may delete your account at any time in settings. We may block an account for breach of these terms, stating the reason.
11. Law and disputes
The applicable law is that of the State of Israel. Disputes are heard by the courts at the platform owner's location.
12. Changes
We notify users of changes by email. By continuing to use the platform you accept the new version.
